The Log-File (logfile.txt)

Upon launching MicrobeMS, the user will encounter two windows: the main user dialog box and a command line window. The former enables interaction with the program, while the latter displays input parameters and non-standard errors. These messages are stored in a log file, logfile.txt, located in the following directories:

MicrobeMS standalone version, Windows operating system (W8/W8.1/W10/W11):

   Windows user directory, usually C:\Users\WindowsUserName\Documents\MATLAB (DiaryDir) 
   with WindowsUserName being the actual Windows user name
   The content of the logfile is accessible from the link open the log file of MicrobeMS 
   (see MicrobeMS program group)

MicrobeMS pcode toolbox under Matlab, Windows operating system (W8/W8.1/W10/W11):

Message reporting can be switched on, or off by choosing diary → on, or off from the File pulldown menu.
