View source for The Log-File (logfile.txt)

When MicrobeMS is started, the main window and a command line window appear (see screenshot below). While the main window allows interaction with the program, the command line window displays input parameters and reports non-standard errors. These messages are stored in a log file (''logfile.txt'') located in the following directories:
 
MicrobeMS '''standalone version''', Windows operating system (W8/W8.1/W10/W11):

    Windows user directory, usually ''C:\Users\WindowsUserName\Documents\MATLAB'' (DiaryDir) 
    with WindowsUserName being the Windows user name
    The content of the logfile is accessible from the link ''open the log file of MicrobeMS'' 
    (see MicrobeMS program group)

MicrobeMS '''pcode toolbox''' under Matlab, Windows operating system (W8/W8.1/W10/W11):

Message reporting can be switched on, or off by choosing ''diary'' &rarr; ''on'', or ''off'' from the ''File'' pulldown menu.<br> &nbsp; <br>
